President Donald J. Trump delivered a primetime address releasing newly declassified materials that he claims expose foreign interference in U.S. elections, vulnerabilities in election infrastructure, and efforts by intelligence officials to withhold critical information from the President and the public.

Vice President JD Vance described election integrity as a nonpartisan American issue and called for passing the SAVE America Act to protect voting rights. Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry asserted that China hacked 220 million U.S. voter files containing sensitive personal information. He also cited a Department of Homeland Security investigation that found 278,000 noncitizens registered to vote in federal elections, warning that this evidence had been buried by the government and ignored by mainstream media. Landry emphasized the need for Congress to pass the SAVE America Act to secure a constitutional republic.

Journalist Catherine Herridge stated there was evidence of political and personal bias in intelligence, arguing that intelligence should remain neutral. She noted that the released documents support claims of intelligence suppression to harm President Trump. Former National Security Advisor Robert C. O’Brien said he had warned about interference, which was downplayed by the press, and thanked Trump for releasing the evidence.

Former Acting Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security Ezra Cohen said the public can now see some of what was hidden by the permanent security state in 2020 related to Chinese Communist Party interference against Trump’s candidacy, and indicated more information remains to be declassified. Hans von Spakovsky, a senior legal fellow, commended the President for releasing reports supporting his claims. Former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows referenced the 278,000 noncitizens registered to vote as a key reason to pass the SAVE America Act. Rob Bluey, executive editor of The Daily Signal, supported making the SAVE America Act a Senate priority for election integrity.
