On June 9, 2026, the President signed into law two healthcare-focused bills. The first, H.R. 3490, the Gerald E. Connolly Esophageal Cancer Awareness Act of 2025, requires the Government Accountability Office to produce a report on esophageal cancer.
The second, S. 2393, the Fiscal Year 2025 Veterans Affairs Major Medical Facility Authorization Act, authorizes a major medical facility project for the Department of Veterans Affairs in St. Louis, Missouri.
