The Wanda Diamond League meeting Athletissima in Lausanne on 21 August will feature a standout 200m race between Letsile Tebogo and Gout Gout. Tebogo previously claimed victory at Lausanne’s Pontaise Stadium, running 19.64, just two weeks after winning Olympic gold in Paris with an African record of 19.46. Australian teenager Gout, 18, holds the world U20 record at 19.67, set in April. The sprinters previously met in the 2025 World Championships semifinals in Tokyo, where Tebogo took the win.

Alongside the men's 200m, the women's 800m will also be a highlight, headlined by Audrey Werro, who recently ran 1:53.98 in Stockholm—the third-fastest performance in history. Werro will compete on home turf, aiming for another memorable result.

The event promises an exciting evening of track and field for fans at Lausanne’s Pontaise Stadium.
