Barcelona, four-time European champions, have five players named in the UEFA Women’s Champions League Team of the Season. The official selection by the UEFA Technical Observer Group includes goalkeeper Cata Coll, defender Mapi León, midfielders Alexia Putellas and Patri Guijarro, and forward Ewa Pajor, who scored 11 goals during the campaign.

Alexia Putellas, a Barcelona midfielder, was named Player of the Season. Lyon, the runners-up, have three players included: defenders Wendie Renard and Selma Bacha, and midfielder Melchie Dumornay. Arsenal, semi-finalists, contributed two players: defender Emily Fox and forward Alessia Russo. Bayern München, also a semi-finalist, is represented by forward Pernille Harder.
