World Athletics Competition: Men's and Women's Event Highlights

In the men's 100 metres final, Abdurahman Karriem from South Africa won with a time of 10.19 seconds. Sitali Kakene from Zambia and Abdullah Othman Masoud from Qatar placed second and third, respectively.

The men's 300 metres event saw Vít Müller of the Czech Republic win at 32.82 seconds, with Bailey Swift of Great Britain and Milan Ščibráni of the Czech Republic finishing second and third.

In the men's 600 metres final 1, Jakub Dudycha of the Czech Republic finished first in 1:14.93, followed by compatriots Daniel Kotyza and Sebastián Šemrak in second and third.

Duncan Hamilton from the USA won the men's 3000 metres steeplechase with a time of 8:29.86, ahead of Damián Vích and Robin Müller.

In the women's 100 metres final, Jodean Williams of Jamaica placed first in 11.18 seconds, with Natálie Kožuškaničová and Nikola Musilová of the Czech Republic taking second and third.

For the women's 300 metres, Daniela Ledecká from Slovakia led with a time of 36.79 seconds, followed by Barbora Šplechtnová and Nikola Bisová of the Czech Republic.
