At Nansho Gakuen Stadium in Osaka, the men's shot put final saw Shoki Kuroda of Japan lead with a throw of 15.48 meters. Mahiro Hamada and Yudai Takahashi took second and third with throws of 14.55 and 14.25 meters, respectively.

In the men's javelin throw, Taiki Okuno won with a mark of 65.43 meters. Sukai Oyama and Takaaki Joukou followed at 62.86 and 61.93 meters, respectively.

Chiharu Saka topped the women's shot put with a throw of 15.02 meters. Suzu Nakahara finished second with 14.15 meters, and Haruka Yamamoto was third with 13.15 meters.

Rino Kato led the women's javelin event with a distance of 51.25 meters. Kaho Komatsu and Hitomi Sukenaga claimed second and third with throws of 49.18 and 45.81 meters, respectively.

In the under-20 men's shot put, Kenshin Nakada secured first place with a 15.21-meter throw. Kotaro Okamoto was second at 14.33 meters and Haruma Onji third with 12.38 meters.
