The third unified World Mountain & Trail Running Championships took place in Canfranc-Pirineos from 25 to 28 September. The event set a new participation record, with 1,700 athletes from 80 countries. The competition featured five race formats: Uphill, Classic, U20, Short Trail, and Long Trail.
