Gianmarco Tamberi of Italy won the high jump at the World Athletics Ultimate Championship in Budapest, clearing 2.37 meters—the highest jump worldwide this year.
The 34-year-old, who previously won the world title in Budapest in 2023, adds the Ultimate Championship to his achievements at the same venue.
Tamberi finished ahead of JuVaughn Harrison (2.30 meters) and Erick Portillo (2.26 meters) to secure the victory.
