Tara Davis-Woodhall, Olympic long jump gold medallist and world champion, will compete at the inaugural World Athletics Ultimate Championship, set for 11–13 September in Budapest, Hungary. In addition to competing, she will be the lead content creator, supporting other content creators for the event.
World Athletics President Sebastian Coe stated that Davis-Woodhall combines elite athletic performance with authentic storytelling on social media. The championship aims to highlight athletes as multi-dimensional stars, celebrating both their sports and creative pursuits.
Davis-Woodhall qualified for the event by winning gold at the 2024 Paris Olympics and the 2025 World Championships in Tokyo. In 2023, she won silver at the World Athletics Championships in Budapest. In 2026, she expanded her range by also competing in the 100m hurdles.
The World Athletics Ultimate Championship brings together world champions, Olympic champions, Wanda Diamond League winners, and top-ranked athletes to determine the best of the best.
