At the conclusion of the eight-day 2026 World Aquatics Junior Diving Championships in Rijeka, Croatia, Germany and Russia secured the final two individual titles. Rudi Bollmann of Germany claimed the boys' 1m springboard gold in the 14–15 age group, while Aleksandra Kedrina of Russia finished first in the girls' platform event, earning Russia its seventh gold overall at the meet.
In the boys' 1m final, Miroslav Kiselev of Russia aimed to win gold across all three individual events in his age bracket but finished sixth in the final. Mexican diver Ian Caleb Nava Gutierrez, who led the preliminaries and had previously claimed two silver medals, secured silver by executing the competition's most difficult dive last. Miguel Alejandro Sanchez Correa, also from Mexico, took bronze, giving Mexico two podium finishes in the event.
Bollmann attributed his victory to consistency despite a less difficult dive list, describing this gold as his first junior world medal and a major achievement. Nava Gutierrez expressed a desire to increase his dive difficulty in the future, while Sanchez Correa acknowledged the importance of self-control learned during the championships and plans to improve in upcoming competitions.
