The 2026/27 UEFA Women’s Europa Cup final will be played over two legs, with each finalist hosting one match. The first leg is set for either 1 or 2 May, and the second for 8 or 9 May 2027. This two-legged format extends across the knockout phase. If the aggregate score remains level after normal time in the second leg, two 15-minute extra time periods will be played, followed by a penalty shoot-out if necessary. Away goals will not count towards the final result. The inaugural edition, won by Häcken against Hammarby, used the same structure.
The winner of the Women’s Europa Cup will receive a trophy representing the competition’s six rounds. The champion also qualifies for the third qualifying round of the champions path in the following season's UEFA Women’s Champions League, requiring only one further round to reach the 2027/28 league phase. If the 2026/27 UEFA Women’s Champions League winner also qualifies domestically for the league phase, their slot will be given to the Women’s Europa Cup champion.
Launched in the 2025/26 season, the Women’s Europa Cup runs alongside the Women’s Champions League, giving more clubs the opportunity to compete at continental level and expanding women’s club football in Europe.
Other key UEFA women's finals in 2027 are scheduled as follows: the UEFA Europa League final in Frankfurt, Germany, on 26 May; the UEFA Women’s Champions League final in Warsaw, Poland, at the National Stadium on 28, 29, or 30 May; the UEFA Conference League final in Istanbul, Türkiye, on 2 June; and the UEFA Champions League final in Madrid, Spain, on 5 June.
