The UEFA Technical Observer Group has named Lily Yohannes the 2025/26 UEFA Women's Champions League Revelation of the Season. The 18-year-old midfielder was instrumental in OL Lyonnes' run to the final during her first season with the French club after transferring from Ajax the previous summer.

Yohannes scored two goals during the campaign, including a notable long-distance lob in a 3-0 victory against St. Pölten in the league phase. She also netted the opening goal in OL Lyonnes' 4-0 comeback win against Wolfsburg in the quarter-final second leg. Over 10 appearances, she recorded one assist, maintained a passing accuracy of 73.8%, and reached a top speed of 30.33 km/h.

The Revelation of the Season award recognizes an emerging young player, aged 21 or younger at the start of the campaign, for outstanding performances, clear impact on team results, and measurable progression and maturity. The award highlights players considered among the most promising talents of their generation and potential future stars. Previous winners of the Young Player of the Season award are not eligible.
