Seventeen hospitals across Lebanon have sustained damage since the escalation of hostilities began in March, including all three hospitals in Tyre. A reported strike near Hiram Hospital in the Tyre region injured ten staff members and caused structural damage; this marks the fifth incident affecting the hospital since early March, according to local authorities.

The World Health Organization reports that 135 healthcare workers and first responders have been killed, and nearly 400 others injured during the ongoing conflict, highlighting the severe impact on medical personnel and access to healthcare services. UN Spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric expressed deep concern about continued hostilities affecting healthcare facilities and essential services.

On Thursday, the UN Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), which monitors the separation line between Israel and southern Lebanon, reported intensive aerial activity. These involved fighter aircraft and unmanned aerial systems, including 72 violations of Lebanese airspace and eight airstrikes by Israeli fighter aircraft within UNIFIL's area of operations. UNIFIL peacekeepers recorded 531 conflict-related trajectories: 526 from Israeli positions and five presumed to be launched by Hezbollah, with one crossing the separation line.

Despite the escalation, UNIFIL remains deployed throughout southern Lebanon and continues its mandated tasks. Recently, peacekeepers have coordinated with the national army and local authorities to repair roads, bridges, and clear access routes to maintain mobility and humanitarian access. Repairs and bypass routes have been established in multiple areas, including Shama, Ramyah, Marwahin, Ayta as-Sha’b, Marjayoun, Kfar Kila, and Houla. Chinese peacekeepers within the mission repaired a vital bridge near Al Bayyadah, which was significantly damaged during hostilities.

Humanitarian partners have provided essential relief items to over 182,000 people affected by the conflict across Lebanon, supporting displaced and vulnerable populations amid the deteriorating situation.
