The 2026 Artistic Swimming Super Final is set for June 19 to 21 in Toronto, concluding a standout season with top performances in Solo, Duet, Mixed Duet, and Team disciplines. Leading nations are expected to field decorated athletes, promising a showcase of world-class routines and increased technical difficulty.

Jacqueline Simoneau, a four-time Pan American Games champion and former World champion, expressed excitement about the event taking place in her home country. She noted the sport's evolution since the Paris Games, citing improvements in routine precision, risk elements, and greater competitive depth internationally. Simoneau believes the passionate Canadian audience will boost the competition atmosphere.

Canada is anticipated to present strong medal contenders, including Audrey Lamothe, Simoneau's former Duet partner. Lamothe claimed two Solo golds at the season opener in Medellin, Colombia. The Canadian team also earned bronze medals in the Team Technical event in Medellin and Team Free in Spain, underscoring consistent performances this season.

The Chinese team, reigning Olympic and World champions, have rotated athletes throughout the 2026 season but bring a strong lineup to both the World Cup in Xi’an and the Super Final. Key athletes such as Chang Hao, Feng Yu, Xiang Binxuan, and Zhang Yayi, all members of the Paris 2024 gold-winning team, are competing again. Soloist Xu Huiyan, winner of Solo Technical gold at Singapore 2025, will participate in both Solo and Duet with Lin Yanjun. The Men’s Solo events will highlight emerging talent, including China’s Guo Muye and Great Britain’s Ranjuo Tomblin, the current leader in Men’s Solo Technical standings.
