First Lady Melania Trump led a cross-cultural educational program with Her Majesty Queen Camilla, utilizing artificial intelligence and virtual reality to enhance the study of British and American history. The initiative, part of Mrs. Trump’s ‘Fostering the Future Together’ program, aims to empower children through technology and education.
Students took immersive virtual tours of notable United Kingdom locations, including Snowdonia, Giant’s Causeway, Stonehenge, and the exterior of Buckingham Palace, using Meta Quest headsets. This experience aimed to deepen their understanding of geography and culture through advanced virtual technology.
Additionally, the First Lady presented historically significant American artifacts viewed with AI glasses to Her Majesty and the students. These artifacts, curated to represent US-UK cultural ties, included a portrait of President John Adams, a World War II map for President Franklin D. Roosevelt, a bust of Prime Minister Winston Churchill, and Staffordshire ceramics.
The program was held at the White House Tennis Pavilion, one of Mrs. Trump’s design projects during the 45th Administration. During the event, both leaders engaged with students, discussing their learning experiences and encouraging a dialogue on history and technology.
