The 2026 UEFA European Women’s Under-17 Championship is scheduled for 4 to 17 May in Northern Ireland, which hosts the finals for the first time. The tournament features eight teams divided into two groups, with matches played in Larne, Coleraine, and Belfast.
Group A includes hosts Northern Ireland, Germany, Norway, and England. Group B features France, Finland, Spain, and Poland. Most group stage matches will take place in Larne and Coleraine, while the semi-finals and final will be held at the National Football Stadium at Windsor Park in Belfast.
The top two teams from each group advance to the semi-finals on 14 May in Belfast. These semi-finalists automatically qualify for the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, scheduled in Morocco from 17 October to 7 November. A FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup play-off will also be held on 14 May between the two third-placed teams at Inver Park, Larne, with the winner qualifying for the World Cup.
The final is set for 17 May in Belfast. If any knockout match—including the semi-finals, final, or World Cup play-off—ends level after regular time, the winner will be decided by a penalty shoot-out, with no extra time, according to tournament regulations.
