Indonesia calls for the United Nations development system to deliver tangible impact by acting as a strategic partner in four key areas: translating country needs into development programs, connecting sectors to address challenges, catalyzing innovative financing, and ensuring inclusion for all. This approach is reflected in Indonesia’s Cooperation Framework for 2026–2030, aligning with national priorities in human development, environment and decarbonization, and economic and digital transformation, covering 18 strategic priorities.
The UN Country Team in Indonesia has made measurable contributions in three main areas: accelerating stunting reduction through integrated nutrition and sanitation programs; supporting Indonesia’s COVID-19 response and health system strengthening; and advancing the transition to green energy and climate resilience.
Success for these collaborations is measured by alignment with national priorities and tangible outcomes, such as a reduction in stunting prevalence, supported by technical assistance from UNICEF, WHO, and WFP on maternal health, breastfeeding, water, and sanitation.
