China achieved a clean sweep of gold medals in all nine diving events at the World Cup Super Final, maintaining an undefeated streak through every event. In the women's 3m final, Chen Jia, age 21, won gold by a margin of just 1.35 points over teammate Chen Yiwen, the world and Olympic champion. Both performed identical dives in the final round, but an extra half point from a judge secured Chen Jia the win.

The men's 10m platform final was a close contest between China and Mexico. Randal Willars Valdez, 24, from Mexico, led after the third round and achieved his hardest dive in the final, earning 106.60 points and a personal best score of 538.15. His performance positioned him as a possible first non-Chinese winner in the Super Final.

China's Lian Junjie then scored 111.00 points on a forward 4½ tuck dive, earning five perfect scores from seven judges but still trailed Willars Valdez by 31.35 points. Ultimately, 19-year-old Bai Yuming needed at least 96.95 points on his final dive to overtake Willars Valdez. Bai’s dive scored 101.75, securing China's ninth gold in nine events with a total of 542.95 points, leaving Willars Valdez in second place by 4.80 points.

Earlier rounds of the men's 10m event featured a tight elimination round where Bai Yuming narrowly defeated Russia's Ruslan Ternovoi by three points, and Willars Valdez edged out 16-year-old Ukrainian Mark Hrytsenko by 3.05 points. In the semifinals, Australia's two-time world champion Cassiel Rousseau survived elimination with a back 3½ pike dive scoring 93.60 points, knocking out Ukraine's Oleksii Sereda. Rousseau finished fourth in the final.

After his victory, Bai called the gold medal a rewarding experience and a significant achievement in his first World Cup Super Final. Willars Valdez expressed satisfaction with his silver medal and personal best score, highlighting his progress from last year when he did not reach the final.
