World Athletics has announced that at the World Athletics Ultimate Championship, Ultimate Champions will receive trophies instead of traditional medals. This decision highlights the event's focus on recognizing the single best athlete in each discipline, rather than awarding multiple podium places. According to World Athletics President Sebastian Coe, awarding only trophies to winners aligns with the championship's concept of honoring the top competitor.

In addition to trophies for winners, every participating athlete will receive a personalized bracelet. These adjustable bracelets feature the athlete's name on the exterior and the event name on the interior, symbolizing their elite status.

The trophies are designed to resemble stone statues and embody the idea of "carving your name in history." Their shape reflects the star logo of the Ultimate Championship and includes gold inlay to mark the athlete's triumph. A distinctive recessed groove in each trophy is meant to be completed by adding the personalized bracelet with the winner's name. This concept was developed by Ultimate MC and Creative Adviser Noah Lyles, with each trophy and bracelet handcrafted by Hungarian designers, jewellers, and sculptors.

Instead of traditional medal ceremonies, winners will take their trophies directly from a plinth at the event site, where the trophy waits throughout the competition. The champion’s trophy-lifting moment will be featured in the event's video coverage.
