World Aquatics has launched a comprehensive survey and assessment framework for National Federations (NFs) to evaluate current practices and guide future development. Scheduled every four years, this initiative serves as both a benchmarking and development tool.
The survey covers five key pillars of federation strength and sustainability: Governance, Administration, Development, Competition Management, and International Representation. These areas are crucial for supporting the growth of athletes, coaches, and aquatic communities worldwide.
The framework is intended for both data collection and self-assessment. NFs can use it to evaluate strengths and identify areas for improvement, aiding their strategic planning and operations.
With 210 questions, each featuring a benchmark standard, World Aquatics offers clarity on the gap between current conditions and ideal development. This helps prioritize actions for both NFs and World Aquatics.
Results from this global survey will help World Aquatics provide targeted support and recommendations. Recognizing the diversity of member federations, the organization aims to strengthen the foundation of aquatic sports worldwide.
