The 2026 World Aquatics Women’s U18 Water Polo Championships are scheduled for Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife, Spain, from August 16 to 23, 2026.
Twenty teams have qualified for the event, representing all inhabited continents. European teams include Croatia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Malta, Netherlands, Serbia, Spain, and Turkiye, with Spain as the reigning world champion.
Asian qualifiers are China and Israel, while Africa is represented by South Africa and Zimbabwe. The Americas will be represented by Brazil, Canada, Colombia, and the United States. Oceania’s representatives are Australia and New Zealand.
This championship highlights the global reach of women’s youth water polo at the under-18 level.
