The Wanda Diamond League meeting at the Kamila Skolimowska Memorial in Silesia will feature several high-profile matchups, including the women’s 100m race between Saint Lucia’s Olympic champion Julien Alfred and USA’s triple 2025 world champion Melissa Jefferson-Wooden. Alfred is unbeaten this season, while Jefferson-Wooden has lost only once—also to Alfred in a 200m race last year. Other notable entrants include 2023 world champion Sha'Carri Richardson, Shericka Jackson, and home favorite Ewa Swoboda, among others.

In the men’s 400m hurdles, Norway’s world record-holder Karsten Warholm will compete against Brazil’s Alison dos Santos, the 2022 world champion and current world leader at 46.48. Dos Santos has won their three meetings this season, though Warholm triumphed in London with 46.61.

Other highlights include appearances by Mondo Duplantis, Ja'Kobe Tharp, and Jakob Ingebrigtsen, who returns to Diamond League competition after nearly two years. These athletes, along with high jumpers Nicola Olyslagers and Yaroslava Mahuchikh, will contend for qualification to the Diamond League Final in Brussels and the inaugural Ultimate Championship.

The women’s 400m features undefeated Olympic champion Marileidy Paulino competing against local athlete Natalia Bukowiecka. Paulino has maintained a winning streak this year, capturing titles at Diamond League meetings in Doha, Monaco, London, and Paris, including a Diamond League record and personal best of 48.48 seconds in Paris.
