Ethiopia’s Likina Amebaw claimed victory in the women’s 5000m at the World Athletics Ultimate Championship Budapest 26 on Sunday, finishing unchallenged in 14:30.36.
Jess Hull of Australia took second place with a personal best of 14:32.39, while Ethiopia’s Fantaye Belayneh finished third in 14:32.62.
The top five was completed by Ethiopians Freweyni Hailu and Aleshign Baweke, highlighting Ethiopia’s strong performance in the event.
