Klaudia Kazimierska, following her recent win at the Diamond League Final, secured the women’s 1500 metres title at the World Athletics Ultimate Championship Budapest 26. She paced herself behind Agathe Guillemot for much of the race before moving ahead with 200 metres remaining. World indoor champion Georgia Hunter Bell, who recently beat Kazimierska for a European title, challenged her on the home straight, but Kazimierska pulled ahead to finish first in 3:57.55. Hunter Bell claimed second in 3:57.72, with USA’s Nikki Hiltz finishing third in 3:58.16.
