The Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) General Assembly is the supreme decision-making body of the federation. It consists of automobile and touring clubs and national sporting authorities representing 245 member organisations, chaired by the FIA President.
The General Assembly convenes annually to plan the future direction of the FIA. Extraordinary general assemblies may be held to address urgent issues affecting all members that require immediate attention.
The Assembly’s agenda typically includes items submitted by the FIA’s World Motor Sport Council, the World Council for Automobile Mobility and Tourism, and the Senate. Key responsibilities include approving the FIA budget and electing all major FIA officials.
