The Department of Energy's Energy Technology Engineering Center (ETEC) team will host the next CONNECT Series session focused on community outreach, engagement, and training. The session will provide updates on recent activities at the Santa Susana Field Laboratory (SSFL), including wildfire response and air quality monitoring related to the May Sandy Fire. Community members will have the opportunity to ask questions during a Q&A segment after the presentation.

The Ventura County Fire Department will also present on their role in protecting the SSFL site during the Sandy Fire event.

The meeting will be held at the DOE ETEC office at 980 Enchanted Way, Suite 108, Simi Valley, California. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the session begins at 6 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to RSVP via email at etec@emcbc.doe.gov.
