The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) published an analysis stating that adopting the 2024 International Energy Conservation Code nationwide would significantly raise housing construction costs.
The analysis also indicates that the code's mandates may place a costly burden on American families, described in the statement as a "Green New Scam."
