NASA will provide live coverage of the launch and docking of the Russian Progress 95 cargo spacecraft, which is delivering about three tons of food, fuel, and supplies to the International Space Station (ISS). The unpiloted spacecraft is scheduled to launch at 6:21 p.m. EDT on April 25 from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan aboard a Soyuz rocket. NASA's live launch coverage begins at 6 p.m. on NASA+, Amazon Prime, and the agency’s YouTube channel.

After a two-day journey, Progress 95 is expected to dock autonomously at 8 p.m. on April 27 to the aft port of the Zvezda module on the ISS. NASA will provide live coverage of the rendezvous and docking starting at 7:15 p.m. on the same platforms.

The cargo spacecraft will remain attached to the station for about seven months before undocking for a controlled re-entry into Earth's atmosphere, carrying trash loaded by the crew. Prior to Progress 95's arrival, Progress 93 undocked from the station on April 20 and safely burned up upon re-entry over the Pacific Ocean.

Continuously inhabited for more than 25 years, the ISS serves as a platform for scientific research and discovery, supports human spaceflight challenges, advances commercial activities in low Earth orbit, and prepares for future missions to the Moon and Mars.
