NASA received two Webby Awards and five Webby People’s Voice Awards at the 30th Annual Webby Awards, recognizing excellence in digital media including websites, podcasts, social media, and apps in science and education.
Award-winning projects include NASA’s Curious Universe Podcast Earth Series, social media outreach for the Webb Telescope, NASA astronaut posts from space, the Hearing Hubble app, and the “Houston We Have a Podcast” episode on Artemis II: The Mission. Each project won either a Webby Award or a People’s Voice Award, the latter determined by public voting.
The Webby Awards are presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, a judging body of over 3,000 experts from internet, business, and creative industries. Since 1998, NASA has been nominated for more than 100 Webby Awards, winning 51 Webbys and 72 People’s Voice Awards in total.
