The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan will sign the Artemis Accords during a ceremony scheduled for 9:30 a.m. EDT on Thursday, April 23, at NASA Headquarters in Washington, D.C.
The event will be hosted by NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman and will feature Ambassador Dina Kawar representing Jordan, along with Ruth Perry from the U.S. Department of State. The signing will take place in the James E. Webb Memorial Auditorium within NASA’s Mary W. Jackson building.
Jordan's signing will make it the 63rd nation to join the Artemis Accords. Introduced in 2020 by the United States and seven founding countries, the Accords set practical principles to promote safety, transparency, and international cooperation in civil space exploration on the Moon, Mars, and beyond.
