The official bid launch and guide distribution are planned for August 2024, July 2025, June 2025, and December 2025, depending on the event. The World Athletics Council will award hosting rights between March and December 2026. World Athletics may adjust these timelines under exceptional circumstances, in line with its bidding rules.
