British artistic swimmer Ranjuo Tomblin, who recently earned a Mixed Duet bronze at the 2025 World Championships, is working to elevate his performance this season with mentorship from American Bill May, a six-time world championships medallist and pioneering figure in the sport.

Tomblin has collaborated with May on choreography for both his Men’s Solo and Mixed Duet routines. The Mixed Duet, performed with Olympic silver medallist Izzy Thorpe and guided by GBR coach Stefania Speroni, has benefited from May's expertise. Tomblin noted May's influence in enhancing artistic impression and adding new transitions and energy to his routines.

May described Tomblin as a special athlete, citing his kindness, respect for competitors, and strong work ethic as key qualities of a true champion. He also emphasized Tomblin’s willingness to learn and the inspiring atmosphere this creates for the team.

This season, Tomblin has already claimed Solo Technical gold at the opening World Cup in Medellin, Colombia, along with two silver medals, signaling his potential for further success as the World Aquatics Artistic Swimming World Cup continues.
