World champion Oblique Seville and Olympic champion Gabby Thomas are among the athletes confirmed for the Lone Star Grand Prix, a World Athletics Continental Tour Gold meeting in Texas scheduled for June 6. Quincy Hall and Khaleb McRae are also set to compete.

Jamaica’s Oblique Seville is expected to race in the 100m alongside a strong field featuring Canada's Olympic and world medallist Andre De Grasse, the USA’s Trayvon Bromell, British record-holder Zharnel Hughes, and US 4x100m relay teammates Ronnie Baker, Max Thomas, and Pjai Austin.

Gabby Thomas, a three-time gold medallist at the Paris 2024 Olympics based in Austin, Texas, will run the 200m. Thomas recently posted a wind-legal 10.95 seconds in the 100m—her first sub-11-second performance. She will be joined by 2024 NCAA champion and Olympic finalist McKenzie Long, world relay gold medallist Kayla White, and Olympic silver medallist Jenna Prandini.

Quincy Hall returns to competition in the 400m after a year away, having won his last race at the Rome Diamond League. Hall is the fourth-fastest man ever in the 400m, with a personal best of 43.40 seconds set at the Paris Olympics. He faces Khaleb McRae, who set a world short track record with 44.52, won silver at the World Indoor Championships, and anchored the USA 4x400m team to gold.

In the women’s 400m, Britton Wilson, Bailey Lear, and Alexis Holmes are expected to compete. The 110m hurdles will feature Olympic silver medallist Daniel Roberts and Freddie Crittenden.
