The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) have announced a series of upcoming reports scheduled between 2022 and 2028, covering a broad range of U.S. health statistics and trends.

Notably, a report planned for May 27, 2026, will estimate retail health clinic (RHC) and urgent care center (UCC) usage in the U.S., broken down by age group and urbanization level. The CDC also plans to release health insurance coverage estimates from the 2025 National Health Interview Survey (NHIS) on May 28, 2026, focusing on the civilian noninstitutionalized population.

Several reports will address birth data, including final U.S. birth statistics by selected characteristics for 2024, scheduled for June 9, 2026. Additional reports in mid-2026 will address trends in fertility, maternal and infant characteristics, and infant mortality by demographic factors. Analyses will also cover twin birth rates from 2014 to 2024 and changes by maternal age and origin.

A 2028 report will examine mortality data related to Parkinson’s disease for adults aged 65 and older, covering trends from 2014 through 2024. Other scheduled releases in June 2026 include surveillance summaries and statistics on anthropometric indicators among infants and toddlers, as well as underweight prevalence by age and sex in youth and adults.

These upcoming releases aim to provide updated, descriptive data to inform public health understanding and policy, though full articles and detailed findings are not yet available.
