The White House has announced several nominations sent to the Senate, including Riley Barnes of Texas for Director of the Peace Corps and Rudolph Bauer of South Carolina as Ambassador to Belize.

Other nominees are Don Richard Berthiaume, Jr. for Inspector General at the Department of Justice; Sean Costello as U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Alabama; and Erich Hernandez-Baquero as Assistant Secretary of the Air Force.

Roger Mason was nominated as Director of the National Reconnaissance Office, while Christopher Phelan of Minnesota was put forward as Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers. Erica Schwartz was nominated as Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The nominations also include Gary Shatswell as Assistant Secretary of Veterans Affairs for Information and Technology.

These nominations are now pending Senate review and confirmation, according to the White House.
